We’re passionate about the Island Games! We first found out about the Games thanks to the football tournament and that’s what drew us to the 2015 Games in Jersey. The official IIGA website has each tournament documented (sometimes in hard-to-read Scandinavian handwriting), and then there are the Wikipedia pages. It can be hard to find out the history of each sport and how your island has fared over the years. So we’ve gone about painstakingly putting together spreadsheets for each team sport. That includes Team Events in sports like tennis, squash etc.

Athletics – David Griffiths from the Isle of Man has very kindly shared the incredible results database that he has put together. You can use the filters on the document to see the history of each event, athlete, or island. David can be seen at each edition of the Island Games recording as much of the athletics as possible. He runs the Island Games Athletics Facebook group which can be found here. It is packed with video footage of years gone by and is well worth a visit.
